Community GardeningOne of the special projects this season at Camp Risley is a community garden. The Risley community, along with two local church congregations have agreed to share in the effort of growing and harvesting several large plots of vegetables, and will also share in the harvest!
The produce will be divided evenly between the groups, and each will distribute it as they see fit - such as: to families within their groups, needy in their communities, to local food banks, or even used as a farm-market fundraiser to support their various ministries.
